Amandine Carrette designed this space, creating rooms with a simple, natural style which goes back to basics: sleek, on-trend furniture and wooden tables without tablecloths to showcase the designer pieces of local ceramic artists.
The carefully considered decor creates a simple, elegant peaceful setting in which to sample Jean-Michel’s bold cuisine.

The secrets to a dish? Its ingredients: chosen with care, based on seasonal availability. To be able to access the very best ingredients, Jean-Michel Carrette has developed close working relationships with local suppliers. These products inspire him to express his creativity and he often uses a single ingredient to produce a combination of different creations.
Although the menu changes, sometimes every day, the basics are unchanging: flavours and contrasting textures are cleverly combined and each ingredient is perfectly cooked. The Chef has an original approach, showcasing local products and modern flavours.
This “artisan chef” works alongside Pascal and Victor, who have worked in the kitchens since his father Michel’s time, and Anthony and Anne-Laure. The menu includes an intriguing mix of traditional dishes and Jean-Michel’s innovative creations.
